Footage from the ALCS Game 7
Editor's note: This is the third part in a series written by Will while on his vacation to his hometown of Tampa. He booked the trip more than a month ago to coincide with the possibility that the Rays would make it to the World Series. The Beehive does not officially endorse any professional sports team.
Meet my mom the flag lady and my dad the cowbell ringer, as we cheer on our Tampa Bay Rays to a victory this past Sunday. (Wait to the end to see Johnny Drama proclaim "Victory!")
I'm posting this, and then running out the door to see Game 1 of the World freaking Series, man.

Comments:
while i didn't even realize the rays dropped "devil" until the postseason, i still got the chills watching the last play of the game - of course, i pretended it was the yankees winning at the *original* yankee stadium.
::siiiiigh:: a girl can dream.
go matt garza!

3-2 in the 6th and Mr. Hero Man Longoria just went down (unhappily, I might add - he didn't agree with the call) - and Crawford makes it three! The Phils are trying to help you out with some sloppy fielding, but we're heading to the 7th with the Phillies in the lead!
I'm looking for you on the TV, Will - did you know you're on the front page of The Bee today? Complete with your "Ray-hawk." I think you just may have a future in mixed martial arts, btw, with that 'do. You need a handle, though. Lemme think on that one...

"Good Will Hammering"
"Will The Thrill Albritton"
Or how about "Will the potential curse on game one of the first ever World Series featuring his beloved Rays?"
Nah, I don't like that name.
For your sake (and your families'), GO RAYS!
