arrow Top 10 Movie D-Bags is surprisingly right on

Biff.jpg

Yoda knows I love a good Top 10 List. So when my friend sent me Film Junk's list of the Top 10 Biggest Movie Douchebags, I was all over it.

After sifting through some pretty lame lists, I think I've finally found one that really knows, and adheres to, the category:

10. Caledon Hockley from "Titanic"
9. Steve Stifler from "American Pie"
8. Carter Burke from "Aliens"
7. Frank T.J. Mackey from "Magnolia"
6. Chet Donnelly from "Weird Science"
5. Ernie McCracken from "Kingpin"
4. Simon from "True Lies"
3. Walter Peck from "Ghostbusters"
2. Shannon Hamilton from "Mallrats"
1. Biff Tannen from "Back to the Future"

I would probably switch out Simon from "True Lies" for O'Bannion from "Dazed and Confused," but other than that, not a bad list. I fully agree with the top three, and Biff Tannen as number one (especially after seeing "Back to the Future" again last night.)

What do you guys think? How well do you know your movie douchebags?

What about Iceman from Top Gun? Though I agree Biff is #1. Before last night I'd forgot how much of a jerk he was.

An honorable mention has to go to the chick at the concession counter who didn't mention to you last night that you could get super nachos nor jalepenos with said nachos.

Biff Tannen, that is awesome.

Is it sad that I have only seen 3 of the movies?

I vote for Steff (James Spader) from Pretty in Pink...he should at least get honorable mention in the 80's brat pack movie category.

Michael: Yes. Iceman rules.

Missy T: Let me guess. You've seen "Titanic," "American Pie" and... "Mallrats"?

It is not for lack of trying on my part. I loaned you "Dazed and Confused," and I tried to get you to go to "BTTF" last night. You have no one to blame but yourself! ;)

Erin D: Hells yes! Good call.

I do have to ask how Johnny Lawrence from Karate Kid didn't make the list.

Oh my god. I feel sick.

I can't believe I didn't think of Johnny Lawrence. I've even met the man, for crying out loud.

I am ashamed.

If they got rid of Simon, they wouldn't have Paxton on the list twice. And, yes Missy T, you should feel sad that you have only seen three of the movies.

I was actually going to mention Johnny Lawrence, but since he was Hmac's prom date a few months ago I figured that nullified any douchebaggery.

clearly this list won't satisfy all, and several people have done a great job pointing out left off douchebags.

honestly, i don't even remember this guy from true lies. maybe it's me, but really, who?

and hmac, if you're throwing o'bannion on there, why not just make a list of top ten douchebags ben whofleck has played?

Like Ed said, everyone is going to have something dif' but "Ed Rooney" from Ferris Bueller - pretty big DB. I love that Shannon Hamilton got in there at number two - awesome.

Is it just me, or is it pretty amusing that Shannon Hamilton came in "Number Two" given his characters particular, um, obsession? You Mallrats fans know what I mean...
