Fres-Know: You Got Served!
News you should know, echoes from the blogsphere and so on:
FOOTLOOSE: Fresno's Rebecca Hart advanced on last night's "So You Think You Can Dance?" Here's a video. Please don't ask how I know this. Meanwhile, in other TV dance show news, Miguel Zarate of Delano has advanced to the finals of Bravo's "Step It Up & Dance." Miguel, say whattup to Jessie Spano for us.
BLAZIN: Looks likes new radio station The Blaze (FM, 105.1) has hired a couple of familiar voices for its mornings: Rick Roddam and Jen Lipp -- both formerly of KRZR.
HAPPY BELATED: Looks like we missed our friend Trisha's birthday party. Sorry, Trish, no video for you. But you got a present from the current Real Worlders -- last night Greg got sent home from this season's trainwreck. That means you get to relinquish your title of last cast member who got kicked off for being a horrible person.
GO KNIGHTS: It's been quite the busy week for Bullard High, huh? First, there's the story about its valedictorian getting deported, which is getting all kinds of attention on the Web. Then there was yesterday's on-campus stabbing, which ended up being a "bonding ritual" between two girls. What you got, Hoover?
THE PODCASTERS STRIKE BACK: Episode Five of The View Looks Good From Here, Fresno podcast is up. I'm listening as I write this. You should too.

Comments:
what is going on with kids today? this is suppose to be the cool thing to do? stabbing each other and smearing the blood is suppose to prove friendship? whatever happened to rolling up a doobie and hotboxing your car in the school parking lot? that's one of the best signs of friendship right there.
these kids need to stop listening to that hip pop snap crackle and pop rap. it's dumbing them down big time!!

not to disparage, but i think episode missed @ a couple of spots, mainly the first third to half.
so, if you're not feeling it by just that episode, go back and listen to the first four. they're much better. i think.
and would someone please leave us a comment? we're dying for feedback.

Jenn Lipp is back?! She rocks!
Roddam's cool too....

I missed Jen, glad she's going to be back.
I'm not the biggest fan of Roddam, but I remember when he lost a bet to the Front Row and his crotch was used as a football tee. He manned up and did it. I'll give him props for that.

Ed, you blogwhore ep 5 on another post and then retract on this one? Whassupwithat?

As someone who goes to Hoover, it would be nice not to be called out to match the stupidity at Bullard. Perhaps by being out of the news this month, we win that particular Battle of Barstow by doing nothing at all...

hey, i'm just being honest. i still want you to listen. i still want everyone else to listen. i'm just saying that i liked other episodes a bit more.
but it's good to know that @ least mike oz & hmac listen.
btw, heather, i was wondering, did you ever watch die hard and think, bruce willis' name is john mclane. just like me! and then imagine that you were married to him?

I miss Jenn Lipp and Chris Daniel in the morning...before he went to Hawaii. After he left, I started listening to Celine Dion and the rest is history. I say this out of love, of course.
As for the bonding ritual, I have kids myself, and don't think none of them would do such a thing. BUT it does remind me of when I was younger...going to Roosevelt/Hoover...and kids would prick their thumbs hard enough to make them bleed, then smoosh their thumbs together to become blood buddies.
My how things change, but somehow forever stay the same.
I
That was definitely said out of love.
