arrow Degrees of Fresno: Hulk Hogan

hulk hogan.jpg

Listen up, Beehive-maniacs. It's times for another installment of The Degrees of Fresno.

This time we've got a Real American for you dudes and dudettes. It's our second favorite dad in the world -- Hulk Hogan, the pro wrestling icon, reality TV star, "American Gladiators" host and proud father of Brooke and Nick.

You should know how this works by now, brother. But if you don't, you have to connect The Hulkster to Fresno via professional relationships, family ties, 24-inch pythons, etc.

So train, say your prayers, eat your vitamins and find those Hulk Hogan connections. And what ya gonna do, Beehive, when the Degrees of Fresno run wild on you?

Ok I really had to dig for this one.

Hulk Hogan was in "3 Ninjas: High Noon at Mega Mountain" with Loni Anderson.
Loni Anderson was in "A Night at the Roxbury with Will Ferrel.
Will Ferrel was in "Old School" with Vince Vaughn.
Vince Vaughn was in the 1998 remake of "Psycho" with Anne Heche.
Anne Heche was found out of her fricken mind wandering around some rural area outside of Fresno.

Alright, I had an answer ready to go, but then I thought of this brilliant one:

Hulk Hogan on WWF with Mean Gene Okerlund
Mean Gene had a burger shop in Fresno for a while.

Madera had one too, always passed it on my way to my mother's house. I ate there once out of curiosity. I can see why they aren't around anymore.

It was gross, but they had cheese fries. Now I have to go to Diamond Billiards just to get someone melty cheese on fries. Do you know how awkward it is to suggest to other grown people that we eat at the pool hall?

Hmac you can get cheese fries at In N Out. Just have to ask.

And I love how this post took a food tangent. Now I'm hungry.

Seriously, Mean Gene's and Diamond Billards are the only two places you thought had cheese fries?

The Hulkster was in No Holds Barred [which I totally saw in the theater] with 'Tiny' Lister who was in Friday [Deebo] with Regina King who was in This Christmas with Sharon Leal...who's from Fresno...

Also, if I recall correctly, Hulk has come to Fresno with WWF. Does that count?

Hulk was in 'No Holds Barred' with Kurt Fuller, of Tulare. Kurt brother John and I were roommates/friends for a long time (in Fresno).

Ernie's right as usual. My husband, an authority on WWE, had said Hulk had been to Fresno before I read the comments. Lo and behold, there was Ernie's comment! I'm not even going to try to find another thread.

I'm thinking we can do better than Hulk Hogan once wrestled in Fresno, because Hulk Hogan once wrestled in just about every city in America.

here's one that uses a similar string as Ernie's:
Hulk Hogan > Tiny Lister (No Holds Barred) > Pam Grier (Jackie Brown) > Sid Haig (Foxy Brown) > Fresno

I know that you can get cheese on fries in many places, but I don't want that greasy, congealed crap. I'm talking melty, processed nacho cheese.

Hulk Hogan can beat the crap out of K-Fed.

Hogan and his spawn are a waste of space, we should be looking for ways to seperate ourselves even more from them. All one needs to do is look up that young man he's said is now a "better person". Yup, nothing like half your head missing to make life better, eh?
