Rascals, Blue Men, Tigers and Chewbacca, plus other Fresno show stuff...
- Country band Rascal Flatts is due to be in Fresno again on April 9, according to a tour itinerary announced today.
The show is, of course, at the Save Mart Center, which hosted a sell-out Rascal Flatts show in July 2006. No details yet on tickets, but I know, you'll know.
- Last night, the Save Mart Center hosted the Blue Man Group. I wasn't there, but Beehive friend Renee N. has a nice recap on her blog.
- Also last night, Tiger Army played its first Fresno headlining show at The Exit. I would have liked to see them again, but it wasn't working with the rest of my life. Anybody go? How was it?
- Liza Minnelli is performing tonight at Table Mountain Casino. Looks like tickets are still available. It also looks like Liza has captured Chewbacca, skinned him and turned him into boots. [ photo via TMZ ]
- A few artists coming soon to Crossroads that I think are worth a MySpace listen:
- The Blakes (Jan. 22)
- Seth Walker (Jan. 24)
- The Expendables (Jan. 28)
- The Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash (Feb. 7). - And it looks like Mixolydian Entertainment will be bringing John West to the new 2039 Ultralounge in March. Niiiice.
