Audio: Scissors for Lefty headed in the right direction
Everybody 'round town these days is talking about Scissors for Lefty. Fresno Famous is. Dorktown is. The Beehive is, too. Take note, Fresno, tonight's show is gonna be a big one.
The S.F. indie band is playing at Starline with El Olio Wolof, Same Shape and Beandip. It's actually a release party for the new Scissors for Lefty album, "Underhanded Romance" that came out last week.
I talked to Scissors frontman Bryan Garza earlier in the week about the show, the album and why the heck they're doing a CD release party in Fresno. Snippets of our conversation were in a Q & A in today's issue of 7. But here's the whole thing -- his cool ringback tone.

Comments:
I caught these guys last night in SLO looking for something to do in the evening while away on business. I skew a bit older than their crowd, but they were a fun band to watch. Good pop with a rock edge. Go see them in the small rooms while you can.........
