Unpredictable is right. Jamie Foxx postpones show tonight.
No Jamie Foxx tonight. Because of a "voice issue," his show at Save Mart Center has been postponed.
Do you buy it?
PRO: Foxx is a busy guy, performing and acting and all that. It could have very well taken a toll on his voice. Plus, he doesn't tour constantly like other acts and having a show like his, that's half-stand-up, half-singing, might be tough on him.
CON: Foxx's next two shows are in Las Vegas, where there's gonna be plenty of partying for NBA All-Star Weekend. He could have just wanted to get there early and live it up. Fresno? Vegas? You pick! Plus, you have to wonder how well ticket sales were doing. There have been a lot of ads for the show lately. Maybe the show promoter is hoping a couple more weeks can sell some more tickets.
UPDATE: I e-mailed the Gazette-Journal, the newspaper in Reno, asking if they knew of Foxx havng "a voice issue" and I got this response from a reporter there: "Foxx mentioned he was "under the weather" and that he was fighting a cold during his Valentine's Day performance at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino in Reno before a sold-out crowd."

Well ~ It could be either BUT I do know that just about EVERYONE I know (including myself) is stuck w/ this darn SORE THROAT & cough......I could see how he'd be sick.

I actually believe that he just wanted to get to Vegas and start partying myself. I was in Vegas for that weeekend and it was no joke!! Im kinda glad that he postponed it bcuz now I will be able to go to the concert!! Fresno better represent!!
