I have heard that Fresno State women's basketball coaches are very high on junior Courtney Collishaw from Redwood HS in Visalia. Other than senior Stephanie Madden of West High, who has already signed with the Bulldogs, I have not heard of any other Valley kids that they are looking at.

If anyone here doesn't think Clovis West has a shot to win the central section title they are crazy. There is no team in the central section that is anywhere close to the talent level of Clovis West. Not only do they have a very good chance at the section title (which would be about their thousanth one) but they for the first time have a legitimate shot at the state title (I know they made it before but they had that 21 year old guy on the team at the time). All I can say is they are 18-2, beating everyone by 30 points and running teams out of the gyms here in the valley. Here is hoping a central section team can take that coveted state title away from the southern powerhouses.
