ORIGINAL POST: Here’s a prime last-minute ticket giveaway from your friends at the Beehive: a lucky reader will get two seats to the much-anticipated Kristin Chenoweth concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Saroyan Theatre.
I wrote about Chenoweth’s coming appearance with the Fresno Grand Opera Orchestra in Sunday’s Spotlight section. She’s a charmer, I can tell you that for sure.
To enter our giveaway, leave a comment on this post telling us your favorite Kristin Chenoweth song, Broadway show or TV series (either in a starring or guest role). I’ll pick one winner at random who will receive two tickets. This is a quick turnaround: Deadline is 2:30 p.m. today. Pushing Daisies!
I still like the “Popular” song from Wicked.
While it’s probably not the most popular, my favorite is the ABC TV show Pushing Daisies. Kristin’s performance was stellar of course, but the entire ensemble was excellent when the show was in it’s prime.
I remember when Chris Colfer said meeting Kristin Chenowith was like a priest meeting Jesus. I would so love to take my Glinda loving daughter to hear such a fabulous voice.

I loved her in Wicked, of course. I really love anything she sings. She could sing the phone book and make it sound great!
I am blind, so when I heard her voice on the soundtrack of Wicked I was deeply touched! I was able to really feel the performance, hear her passion and enjoy the theatrics of it all.

Kristin chenowheth! Or, “the cheno” so many amazing credits to her name but nothing can too her amazing role as galinda the good in wicked. She was the very first galinda to ever have been portrayed on a stage and for good reason. My favorite song is, “for good” so much emotion and just shows a beautiful connection between her and elphaba. I would be so horned to see a legend in concert!!!!

What Would Dolly Do? and of course her work on Glee. I also loved her in Promises, Promises. She’s amazing.
She guest starred in a couple of episodes of “Frasier” as his agent’s assistant. At first Frasier didn’t like this little woman with the child’s voice to represent him in his negotiations but then she proved to be a lioness protecting her cubs when time came to confront management. Very funny.
