More food trucks downtown on Fridays
The new Cart Hop food truck event starts today. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., six food vendors will be selling their yummy lunches at Eaton Plaza near the water tower. (See map here.)
Participating are:
- Dusty Buns with its local, organic food.
- Benaddiction’s rock-n-roll-themed breakfast food and sandwiches.
- Tako BBQ’s Korean barbecue.
- Casa de Tamales’ traditional and fusion/vegetarian/vegan tamales.
- Mattie’s Mobile Wood Fired Pizza and its personal-sized pizzas with local toppings.
- Summertime Pies selling its regular fruit pies, deep-fried pies and empanadas.

There’s a few events in North Fresno. Every Tuesday the trucks are at Friant and Fresno (more here: http://carthopfresno.com/). And Bella Frutta hosts four food trucks at the southeast corner of Shepherd and Willow avenues on Saturdays.
