Here are my 2013 Oscar odds

There were a few surprises among the nominations announced for the 2013 Academy Awards. You can argue all you want but the list has been set.

Here are my early predictions of the odds of who will win.

I’m not sure exactly how “odds” work, but I assume you mean you are predicting “Les Miserables” is the favorite to win the best picture Oscar.

If that’s what you mean, I’m hoping you don’t bet your mortgage on it because you’ll be looking for a new place to live.

I’d be shocked if “Les Miserables” wins in any category aside from Anne Hathaway. Given past history from the various other awards — the DGA, WGA and Producer’s Guild — I’d say the race is between “Lincoln” and “Zero Dark Thirty.”
