Last month Fresno Filmworks debuted a new series of classic film screenings at the Tower Theatre. This Sunday the series will continue with the screening of the Marx Brothers comedy Duck Soup, and we’re giving away a pair of tickets.

From Filmworks: This 1933 anarchic comedy stars the Marx Brothers in their purest and most insane film. This pointed political satire contains some of the brothers’ most famous sequences — the Paul Revere parody, the “We’re Going to War” number, a spoof of 1930s musicals, the mirror scene, and, most famous of all, a final battle episode that has since been copied by everyone from Woody Allen to Mad Magazine. This was the last film the Marx Brothers made for Paramount and the last in which Zeppo appears.

Tickets to Sunday’s 3 p.m. screening cost $5, but you can enter to win a pair by leaving a comment on this post.
