Disneyland unveils new ‘Star Tours’ video
Well, this is a surprising treat: Star Tours at Disneyland closed for a complete makeover less than three weeks ago, and already the park has released a little something from the new ride.
Specifically, they’ve posted the new video that will play in the queue area — it’s a “commercial” advertising the travel packages customers can purchase through Star Tours. Check it out:
The new Star Tours attraction is scheduled to open in 2011. Here’s hoping Disneyland leaks more information and special surprises like this along the way.

I have to say, that commercial isn’t making me go “Cool, I can’t wait to go there.” But maybe that’s not the point.
Well, it’s just the lobby video. I mean, if you remember the old video, it was very similar to this one — pretty much background noise while you’re waiting in line.
And who knows, in the old ride we never really went to the places advertised (thanks to Captain Rex), so this might be the same.
