‘Star Wars’ alphabet pays college fund
UPDATE: Beehive reader Jessica points out that the deadline to order a book has been moved up again. The new deadline is Monday, 12/6.
Original: I’m always impressed when people come up with money-making ideas that don’t involve sleeping with married golfers. Here is one such idea:
When artists Brandon and Emma Peat found out they were pregnant, they decided to decorate baby Tycho’s room with kid-friendly alphabet illustrations of their favorite “Star Wars” characters.
When they realized they had something really cute that others might enjoy, they set up a donation drive. Those who donated $15 to Tycho’s college fund would receive a book featuring the entire alphabet.
The drive has been so successful that it’s been shortened — it was supposed to run all through December, but now ends Thursday, December 9.
So you have five days to check out more images from the Peats’ collection (after the jump), and decide if it’s worth the $15 buying the book for your little tyke-o.

Very cool. I just hope they got permission from grandpa Lucas’ lawyers first or little Tycho will probably end up going to community college.
the site posted an update that the donation drive ends today.
Thanks, Jessica! I will update the post.
So cute!
