Feel-good story of the day
As you’re probably aware, hunger is up and food donations are down, not just in Fresno, but across the country. A Minnesota food bank was really feeling the pinch until a holiday miracle happened. Check it out:
I bet the donor was Prince. Anyone else thinking Prince?
Fresno’s hungry also can use some help. You may not have 40 grand to contribute, but the Community Food Bank could use donations — either time, money or food.
And, of course, Walmart’s Fighting Hunger contest to give $1 million to a community in need is still happening. Click here, and keep clicking, to help Fresno get that money.

I was thinking Jesse Ventura. Hey, isn’t John Madden from Minneapolis?
We have lost first place in the Walmart fighting hunger contest. With over four days to go and we took a nap. People from Fresno especially the students at Fresno State need to get on their computers and vote. We are so close to slow down now. Wake up people of Fresno you can help your needy and it won’t cost you a dime. Show your love for others in this city and put us back in first place where we belong. $1,000,000.00 sure would look good in our food bank. Let us come together and give back what Fresno has given us. So please vote in the next four days.
