Black Friday Countdown
Our friend over on the Bee’s Business Blog, Bethany Clough, posted today about Black Friday and the variety of shoppers it attracts.
It seems that, in addition to Christmas, Thanksgiving now has to compete with this, the holiest of shopping days, for attention. I get it, I guess. Roasted turkey is amazing, but so is a 90-inch flat screen TV for $15.
Bethany is looking for readers to weigh in on what kind of Black Friday monster shopper you think are, and your response may get you a mention in The Bee.
Check out Bethany’s blog post, and leave her a comment, here.

Thanks Heather. I wanted to add a category for journalists who have to get up that early and brave the crowds, but that’s probably pretty small.
I’m an ex-black friday shopper.
I know the bee and gizmodo have linked before so here’s a really good article on giz about the scam that many stores, even online retailers like amazon, pull on black friday:

I would highly recommend that article to anyone looking to buy electronics on Friday.
I would consider my self a Competitor shopper. Even though I don’t stand in line at midnight the night before or rampage through the doors at Best Buy. I like to research online to see what stores are having what kind of items on sale and if it’s too good to pass on the deal. I plan a strategy. This store at this time for this deal and that store for that deal. Pretty much
Happy shopping everyone! Play nice.
