For the record: I have no problem with Kim Stephens. I don’t know Kim or hate Kim. I only joke because Kopi’s shadow looms large. He’s The Man. And I know how it is. I live in H-Mac’s shadow.

Years ago I was a food server (somewhere) and KMPH would have their Christmas parties ( good ol’ days when we actually called them Christmas parties) there. Kopi was the coolest. Very nice to everyone. If his server was slammed ( and we always were on that particular night) he never thought twice about heading to the bar for his gin and tonic and was always very gracious.
I’ve been known to judge a person’s character by how they treat their waiter. Kopi is a class act.
