The two winners of the autographed posters are Bruce and Wilson. Thanks for your comments and keep an eye open for future contests.

ORIGINAL POST: “The Impossible” was scheduled to open in Fresno in early February but was moved up so that it opens here today. I put the movie on my list of the “Ten Best” films of 2012. Now, I want to know what you think.

Send me your short review of the movie and I will put you into a drawing to win one (1) of two (2) miniature movie posters for the film that’s been signed by the cast. That includes Ewan McGregor and Naomi Watts.

The movie may not be here for long but I will still give you some time. All review comments must be posted by Jan. 14. The winners will be notified and they will be able to pick up their poster at the Fresno Bee during normal working hours.

I just got back from seeing The Impossible. I think it might be the hardest movie I’ve ever had to sit through. At turns brutal and beautiful. Nearly an hour after getting home from the theater and I still haven’t fully caught my breath. It was an intense, visceral roller-coaster ride.

Can’t wait to see this!

The Impossible is a Great Emotional true story about a family surviving a natural disaster tsunami and their reunion. Also the movie in my opinion tells how when you help other people in this disaster, great things will come your way in need, good KARMA!
