Mike Huckabee’s radio show going to KGED

Those of you who have been listening to the syndication talk radio show featuring former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee on KIRV (AM 1510) will have to reset your dials. Starting Monday, “The Mike Huckabee Show” will air 9 a.m. – noon on KGED (AM 1680).

Former Fresno mayor Jim Patterson, one of the three KGED owners, says that the program became available about a month ago and they jumped at the chance to add it because the program looks at current events through Christian values. Patterson says its a perfect way to celebrate the launch of the Christian talk format on KGED just over a year ago.

The addition of Huckabee means bumping “Real Radio,” “R & R Show,” “Leading the Way,” Family Life Today” and “The Janet Mefferd Show” on KGED. Paterson says many of those programs will move to the noon – 2 p.m. slot. Details of the new lineup will be announced next week.

“The Mike Huckabee Show” started in April and is heard on approximately 600 radio stations.
