If you were watching “The Voice” closely on Tuesday night to see our local singer Rudy Parris, you actually had to watch VERY closely. While some of the head-to-head match-ups in the show’s battle rounds got 10 minutes of airtime, Parris only got about 30 seconds.

But there’s good news: He won and is still a member of Blake Shelton’s team. Here’s some video:

Parris now moves on to the show’s “knockout rounds,” where teams will be knocked down to five competitors. Given the pace of the show, and the fact that the battle rounds just started this week, we’ll have a few more weeks before we see Parris competing again.

In the meantime, you can watch this web exclusive from “The Voice“: An “After the Battle” segment with Parris and his opponent Charlie Rey.
