All of the reactions to her birthday came as a surprise to Betty White.
"Everybody is celebrating it for me. And they're all saying, 'Oh, my goodness! You're 90!' And I keep trying to explain, 'Don't give me any credit. I didn't do anything to get to be 90. It just happened. I didn't accomplish anything. It just came up on me'," White says. "Everybody else is far more excited about the 90 than I am."
The reason she reached 90, says White, is that she's been blessed with good health and good family genes.
White's having the time of her life working on everything from "Hot In Cleveland" to the Hallmark Hall of Fame movie "The Lost Valentine." She knows most actors her age have long been forced into retirement.
There's only been one regret for White. She's sad her husband of 18 years, Allen Ludden, isn't alive to help her celebrate.
