When I logged on to my computer this morning, I had this email waiting for me from Lisi Drioane, one of the Beehive readers who won tickets to last night's Bill Bowers' engrossing autobiographical performance about becaming a mime while growing up in a tiny Montana town. She writes:
I do not have the words to express what an amazing show that was. I found myself blinking into awareness that I was watching a show and not actually living it. I have seen a lot of world class theatre in London, New York, and Chicago and I can say without a doubt that I have never been so engrossed, so moved, so connected or so blown away as I was by Bill Bowers tonight. I walked out gasping for breath and searching for words to share with my companion; who was equally at a loss.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, for the tickets. I am finally reminded of why I got involved in theatre in the first place.
That pretty much says it all. My partner and I drove home last night from the performance in near-tear-infused silence. The show was compelling, wise, funny, poignant, beautiful -- and the mime moments were incredible. Thank you, Mr. Bowers, for such a gift.

What an insightful young lady that Lisi is.

Yes, I also I agree! It was a great performance, very personal, funny and touching! Thanks also for the tickets, as I also won a pair for that performance.
