I woke up this morning to find one of the irises I bought and planted last summer is budding and nearly ready to bloom -- just in time for the first day of spring tomorrow.
I love this time of year. It really is the most beautiful and vibrant time in the Valley. To celebrate, I plan to get outdoors this weekend to enjoy all the color and great weather by combining these two things:
I've never seen the Blossom Trail by bike, so this should be a fun experience. I hope I'm not too late to see these kinds of images.

I'm on vacation next week and going to Death Valley (where it's supposed to be 91 on Sunday). Can't wait!
