I was gone for a while, and now I'm back. Where did I go? Here's a hint.
Hint: It wasn't Hawaii. If no one guesses correctly within half an hour, I'll post another photo that will be a dead giveaway. (Update 5:15 p.m.: I posted a few more on the jump.) Nothing like forcing the world to see my vacation pics, eh?
Now that I'm back, I'm scrambling to get up to speed in a busy arts week for Fresno. In the next day or so, I'll be posting my thoughts on a couple of Rogue Festival shows I caught when I got back that weren't reviewed the first weekend: "The Soaps of Paris" at Severance Theatre and the MadCompany dance performance at Dianna's. Plus I was able to catch the last performance of Fresno City College's "The Exonerated." More to come on that.
This week, it's a little bit of catch-up and a whole lot of busy: Looking ahead, we have a big Keyboard Concerts performance on Wednesday at Fresno State; the Fresno Philharmonic's "Simply Sinatra" one-time performance at the Saroyan Theatre and the opening of Good Company"s "Oklahoma" at Roger Rocka's, both on Thursday; the opening of the Musical Theaterworks Fresno production of "Hair" at Veterans Auditorium on Friday; and a performance of "BREAK! The Urban Funk Spectacular" at the Saroyan Theatre on Saturday.
To get you in the mood for this frenzy of activity, I'll be posting a Philharmonic ticket giveaway for the Sinatra concert in just a few minutes. Be on the lookout.

Clovis?
My guess is either Vancouver or Rasin City.
The Iditarod?
You got it, Beth. I hung out in Anchorage for a week.
ALASKA
wasn't it obvious?
It looks like a nice trip. It would be cool to be the dog teams racing.
The hat is a little scary however. HA HA
those little shoes on the doggies are sooooo cute!!
