- "A Year with Frog & Toad," directed by Daniel Chavez Jr., is a children's musical that remains true to the spirit of Arnold Lobel's original stories as it follows two great friends - the cheerful and popular Frog, and the rather grumpy Toad - through four fun-filled seasons. It will be performed 2 and 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through Dec. 13 at California Arts Academy's Blackstone Theater, 4750 N. Blackstone Ave. Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 day of show, Students/Seniors are half price. Details: (559) 222-6539 or buy tickets online.
