You review KISS

IMG00168.jpg

A gravity-defying, fire-shooting, sparks-flying, blood-spitting, platform-shoe wearing, full-makeuped KISS rocked Fresno for 2-plus hours Saturday night (including a really good encore of hit songs).

Did you enjoy the show? Did the set list satisfy? How would you rate the pyrotechnics? The solos? The overall stage show? The fans? What did you think of local band Shiver Fox's opening show? Post your review in the comments.

I had a really good time, even without "I Was Made For Lovin' You" on the set list. It's a hard show not to like, there is so much happening on stage. The band still entertains -- though some of the antics seemed a bit indulgent at a few points. But that's what fans eat up, right? The show was loud, face-paced and energetic. The outfits were as grand as always, with enough sparkly sequins to rival a "Dancing With the Stars" costume. With pants so tight, I'm really glad those guys are still in shape!

Here are some photos from the show.

The concert just simply rocked! After 30 years in the business, Kiss never dissapoints and always entertains at every show. This was my 4th time seeing them perform live, and each show just seems to get better. I would have liked the show to go a bit longer, but with 2 hours it was still fantastic. You always get a diverse crowd of all ages at every KISS show which is always fun. I can't wait to see them again! And the opening band was very good as well, good choice with Shiver Fox. I've never heard of them but they had a good sound, and I believe they are a local band. Just a great night of entertainment with some really great ticket deals, you really got the bang for the buck, just a great time for everyone, rock on KISS!

I am not a huge KISS fan, although they do put on a very entertaining show. I only went to see Shiver Fox and they did not disappoint!!!

This band is FANTASTIC and did a really amazing job opening for KISS! If you have not heard them, you owe it to yourself to check them out!

That concert was 100 percent pure rock and roll. They know exactly what they are and rocked the house accordingly.

I've seen them about 12 times live so I missed this one to go see DETHKLOK/MASTODON in San Jose. The pictures you posted of the kids in their KISS make-up just made me smile pretty big over here. After all, that's what it's all about, keeping the Rock-n-Roll going, and rockin' out whether you are 10 years old or 60 years old! Rock and Roll will never die. Really glad you all had a rockin time.

The show was amazing on many levels. KISS plays the same show night after night and you would not know it. They put out energy that is UNMATCHED.

If this is my last KISS show ever, I am happy with the way it went.

ShiverFox tore the place up as the openers. Something tells me we'll be paying 140.00 a ticket to see them @ Save Mart in the not so distant future.~

Seen Kiss several times and this might've been the best one. Great set list, great performances by all 4, and a spectacular stage show. Awesome stuff.

I know some folks get disappointed with the 2 non-original members up there - but all one has to do is see them with Ace Frehley and Peter Criss, and then see them with two guys who haven't spent the last 3 decades wrecking their abilities with drink and drug and the result is clear - a far better band.

The two new songs came off great live (pick up Sonic Boom if you haven't!)

Glad they came, glad I decided to go at the last minute!
