Yesterday was National Nachos Day, and I totally missed it. I missed it.
Here is my promise to you, the American people: I will make up for this oversight in a big way in the upcoming days and weeks until National Nachos Day comes back around.
7-Eleven nachos, ballpark nachos, Nacho Bellgrande, Nachos Supreme, Fully Loaded Nachos, Irish Nachos, steak nachos, chicken nachos, Nacho Libre -- no nacho will go unturned or undigested until this mistake has been rectified.
Count on it.
You forgot Macho Nachos from Del Taco Hmac. And I'm pissed that I missed this day as well.
Whoever is in charge of promoting this holiest of holidays did an awful job of notifying people of it's existence. For shame National Nachos Day promoter. For shame.

They got some great nachos out at Neighbors Tap & Cook House (Fowler/Nees). The half order is huge and comes with pork, steak and chicken. Here's a photo

Thankfully, I did NOT miss Nachos day. In fact, as soon as I noticed that there WAS a nachos day, I jumped on zippee and grabbed everything I needed to put together a nacho party. Which is just like a regular party, except with more nachos than usual :)
The Public House had some yummy nachos with thin homemade (well, restaurant made) potato chips. But, alas, I don't think they're open anymore.
