"Dr. Phil" 3 p.m. KSEE (Channel 24.1): Several members of the Marcus Wesson family return to the daytime talk show today for the first of two episodes. The second part airs Wednesday. Dr. Phil talks with the Wessons about how they are dealing with life after the mass murder in 2004 that left nine children dead. On the "Dr. Phil" Web site the appearance by the Wessons is described as "a lesson in survival, compassion and recovery that just may change your life." On Sept. 24, Elizabeth, Gypsy, Kiani and Serafino Wesson, plus local television news reporter Alysia Sofios, were guests on the talk show. Their appearance came after the release of "Where Hope Begins" (Pocket Books), the book Sofios wrote about her relationship with the family.
