Bee reporter Chris Collins writes in a bulletin today that a painter for the Fresno Unified School District found several photo negatives he believes are the work of famed photographer Ansel Adams. He writes:
As part of Rick Norsigian's efforts, he is letting a former museum curator view the negatives today at a Clovis hotel. Norsigian found the negatives in spring 2000 at a garage sale.
Wouldn't that be an amazing thing to discover at a garage sale? It'd be like rummaging through the "four books for a buck" table and finding a first edition of "Moby Dick." I wonder if Norsigian bargained down the price.
