Blake Jones (sans Trike Shop) is getting some nice attention lately for his most recent release -- an instrumental CD that contains plenty of theremin. The CD, titled "Theremins of Mystery," got featured on a CD Baby podcast and Star Trek-themed playlist. As the next in our Sounds of the City series, we're giving you a free MP3 from the CD.

He demands that no one look him directly in the eye, and that those who are authorized to speak to him call him "Mr. Blake Jones" at all times -- as in, "Mr. Blake Jones, may I offer you a nonfat, no-whip, half-caf double latte, Mr. Blake Jones?"
Did you get him his requisite white cotton robe with "Secret Agent Jones, Thera-Man of Mystery" emblazoned on the back? He won't even come into the studio unless he's wearing that and a pair of camel-colored Uggs. Make certain they're camel and not khaki or heads will roll.
AND I've heard that Blake Jones' theremin has its own tour rider -- magnets, armor all and mini Butterfingers.
