Five Things You Should Do This Weekend ...

If you don't like Donald's picks ...

1. GET THE ANTIDOTE: We knew the guys behind Antidote know how to put on a good party, but do they have the Antidote for severe Sunday heat. We'll have to see. They will have cool house music at Veni Vidi Vici. That's a promise.

2. EAT PEACHES: Perhaps the first ever food event in "Five Things?" I'm not certain. Either way, rush out to the peach party Saturday and hurry back home before it gets too hot. I got two words for ya: Ostrich Tacos.

3. GO ARRRRRR! Did you know there's a pirate festival this weekend at Full Circle Brewing Co.? Now you do. There's fire dancers, live music and, we're guessing here, booty. Ahoy!

4. CLIMB THE VINE: Check out Strange Vine at Audie's tonight with In Flight Nymphs. More on Strange Vine here and here.

5. SIZZLE WITH TREY: If you read the music page in today's paper, you saw the item about Trey Tosh's recent successes. Two chances to see him this weekend: Tonight at Sequoia Brewing Co. in the Tower and Sunday afternoon at Elbow Room.

the bar staff at full circle assured me that they would defeat any other bar in an actual pirate fight.

Hmm. When did Sunday afternoon become the time to party? Isn't that when we should be sleeping it off?

what better way to cure your sunday morning hangover by getting drunk sunday afternoon.

heather. when did you become such an old lady?

mdub420 has it exactly right. but come to antidote where i can pretty much guarantee a doucheless atmosphere without cigars.

Doucheless? I better not go then....

Err I don't know how the second post got there. I guess I was so anxious to say I was a douche I hit the reply twice or something.
