In my Arts Watch roundup that I posted Friday, I write about the Polly Victor retrospective at Gallery 25. I forgot to mention that there will be a reception on Sunday (June 14) at the gallery from 1-4 p.m., and that some members of the Victor family will attend.

Also, some sad news. I'm told that another death hit the family. Angela of The Fresno Center for Non-Violence reports:

You may have heard that, tragically, Matthew Victor, Polly's son, 50 years old, was killed by a hit and run driver in Fresno about 10 days ago. After the reception on June 14, there is to be a memorial for Matthew. My understanding is that it will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Au Lac Restaurant, 1495 N Van Ness Ave, in Fresno.
