It's the first Thursday of the month (a.k.a. Fresno's busiest day) so that means ArtHop and an accompanying busy live music schedule. We'll start with the art. First shout out goes to Josh Wigger's return to Fresno show, happening at both Teazer Tea Market locations. Read more about it here.

I'm also intrigued by new Chinatown hip-hop shop Debts II Society, which has this planned:
ELSEWHERE
- I've heard a lot about Stephanie Pearl's new show "Filter" at DCAC, which opens tonight. There will be live music from Eva Scow and DJ Mr. Leonard playing funky tunes as well.
- La Luna Loca is having an ArtHop reception in its new location at 1095 N. Fulton St., half a block south of Tower Theater. Luna Loca artists Curtis Haggerty, Eric Olage, Nate Truax, Andrew Thaxter, Nicole Castillo and Paul Perez will be showing.
- If you haven't seen the newish K-Jewel gallery yet, head over there to see work from Donnalee Dunne, Juliana Harris and Trude McDermott.

It's also Thirsty Thursdays with The Grizzlies tonight. Undecided on what to do? We'll help you figure all this out. 5-7 p.m. ArtHop, 7-10p.m. The Griz, 10 p.m. - Go see a show. Now see below.
FOR THE MUSIC LOVERS
We've already covered Rademacher at Tokyo Garden tonight, so we'll give shouts out to a couple other things:
Great local tunes at Audie's Olympic tonight, as Suppressors and HR7 get together.
World-music group Brothers of Baladi are at Full Circle Brewing Co. tonight, playing music in seven languages. Yeah, go get some culture.
Eight DJs are going to tear it up over at Palomino's tonight for a special edition of The Soulcial.
Finally, if you're heading back to the north side after your downtown ArtHoppin', you can catch some tunes at Yosemite Ranch with Carpe Noctem.
YOUR TURN
Anything we missed? Shout it out in the comments!

The Suicide Lounge will play for Art Hop from 6-8 pm at Studio 74 on Van Ness just North of Olive. Free music, always great art. Stop in and say hi on your way to one of the night's many later events.
I'll be at Ashtree Studios tonight showing my work for ArtHop, before the next exhibit comes in. Join me!
I'm intrigued by the music combo Niilo Smeds had put together. If I understand correctly it includes Dylan Jones, James Britton-Gore and Andrew Bunnell.
Sounds like it has to be pretty interesting.
I'm going to try and go check it out at Teazer's Olive location.
