ORIGINAL POST: Where the psychobilly fans at? Rockin' German band Mad Sin is back in Fresno on Friday night, playing at Audie's Olympic. The band sold out its last Fresno show, so this one oughta be packed too.

We've got a pair of tickets for one lucky reader, courtesy of Numbskull Shows. The THIRD commenter on this post will win the tickets. No multiple entries are allowed. We won't publish comments until we have the winners. Official rules on the jump.

And I don't mean Bachelor of Science.

Arizona State University has refused to issue commencement speaker President Obama an honorary degree on the grounds that "his body of work is yet to come."

As you might expect, "The Daily Show" had something to say about this, and it is golden.

As you probably remember, Mr. Belding (aka Dennis Haskins) will be in Fresno on Thursday for the Grizzlies' Mad Tight '90s Night. You can read my interview with him for more details on the event and him.

One thing I'm hoping to do tomorrow is get time with Mr. Belding for some "Saved by the Bell" trivia.

This is where you guys come in. I want your questions. I want to see if Beehive readers can stump Mr. Belding.

Dig deep into your "Saved by the Bell" memory bank. From talking to the guy, I'll let you know that he's pretty on point with his SBTB knowledge, so bring your A-game.

Hey Hero's, I like ya. I'm not one of those people who complains about the service and the fact that you might be a little overpriced. I like what you add to the downtown landscape. So I'm not trying to be mean when I ask this, but ... what the heck is up with this sign?

herossign.jpg

I saw this the other night before the Swede Fest and it confounded my brain. The sign points people to a parking lot that Hero's customers can use on Mono Street, a couple blocks from the restaurant. I'd never seen it before, so the sign has to be kinda new. So why is it so tattered and beaten? It's like it came from Paris Hilton's laundry basket.
