For some reason hy janky internet at work is only letting me see half of the trailer. But from what I can see- it looks amazing!

I wan to be Max next year for Halloween...I am so jazzed to see this movie...

Geez, when did this website become www.h-macblog.com...Can we get a Mike Oz Blog soon.

This was my very favorite book growing up. I cannot wait to see this.

Also, that was awesome usage of Arcade Fire's music.

I really wanted to hate this movie, but this trailer is making it HARD!! ;)

@Jon B -
The new Beehive layout will let you fulfill your "man crush" and scroll through all of the Mike Oz posts you want.

No need to hate on the content or the content providers (like I am hating on you right now). How dare you comment with pith and vigor when all of us are reflecting fondly on our favorite childhood story.

Whatever. Sorry for my "Pith" and "Vigor" and my "Man Crush". But if i wanted to read a worthless blog, I would most likely visit yours.

@JonB
Visit my worthless blog whenever you like...the good news is that you might only have to visit once...I'm really bad at updating it...I tend to spend more time picking fights on the Beehive...

Something tells me that you're not really sorry Jon B. And if you're so worried about the content on the internet, why don't you start your own blog and show everyone what valuable content truly is.

Jon B, you must realize the irony in your continous negative comments on the very Blog you seems to hate.
You hate on it but just keep coming back for more.
I think you really LOVE Heather.
Back off!!! She's mine!

@Travis: I'll be one of the monsters to your Max since I wear a similar "costume" everyday (as my buddy Battledrill would say) and wouldn't be much work.

@Heather: Our words must have magical summoning powers :)

That looks SO GOOD!!! I liked how they tried to keep the CGI effects to a minimum.

Arcade Fire FTW

i think it's nice that hmac is stepping up her post output when others aren't available.

regarding this post, they should start the trailer with, "veeeeeeeeerrrrrry loosely based on the book."
because it's quite obvious that to make a story that was pants in its original context into a full length film requires making up something completely different. but, what they've got there looks interesting.

Thank you Ed for the kind words.

Regarding pants, I was going to come at you with a "Quit trying to make 'fetch' happen," but because you're supportive of me, I too shall be supportive of you.

I was in the worst mood imaginable this evening. I was filled with rage.

I watched this trailer.

I damn near cried with joy.

Sorry about the bad mood, but I'm glad to have helped improve it.

I can't wait for October! This movie looks like the book. It's amazing! I think my five year old son will love this movie since he really loves the book! I get a little crazy when I read it to my kids. HAHAHA

Now if only I can get "Goodnight Moon" and "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" my childhood will be complete.

Heather I think your posts are great. But maybe thats because I have a girl-crush on you!

As for pants, its kinda like rufus! Its my new word!!! (everyone cheers!!)

says "VIDEO CANNOT BE FOUND" when I try to watch

:(

Odd... I can see it fine.

I added a link to the post that should take you directly to Trailer Addict, so you can see the trailer.
