Last night the fine folks at Creative Fresno put on the second Pecha Kucha Night at Starline, and judging by the size of the crowd (standing room only), it was another Creative Fresno success.
Check out some pictures of the designers who presented, as well as some familiar faces in the crowd (and will somebody buy me a decent camera already? I apologize for the odd black bars framing some of the pictures).

Apologies to Eldon Daetweiler, whose photo I didn't get, but who gave a great presentation on modern homes in Fresno.
Finally, I'll let Conlan sum up the evening:
"Was Pecha Kucha a success? You petcha! No wait, don't use that. That's stupid. How about, 'Kucha ask for a better bunch of presenters?' No, that's lame... 'Pecha kucha eat just one!' Oh, forget it. Am I even spelling it right? I screw up everything. Mom was right.
This is Conlan. Dot com."

Cool! BTW there is a (stealable) pic of you on my blog from last night. Cheers!
Great pics. Thanks for capturing the moment. I really like the artistic black boxes. Are you gonna do a black box photo presentation at the next PKN?
allahu akbar.
i'd say it was such a success since it was standing room only when i arrived and decided that i was to lazy to stand for 1.5 hours. lesson learned: show up early.
I don't mind the black bars, but I do mind that your camera makes me look funny. And husky. Must be the lens.
Great night, great presenters, and great crowd. Through a "make some noise" poll that Travis did at the beginning we summized that the crowd was 50% virgin Pecha Kucha attendants, margin of sampling error is ±25 percentage points.
We distributed 145 programs. So we're saying the crowd was 150+ (the + is because several couples only took 1 program)
Also we made Pecha Kucha co-founder Mark Dytham, in Tokyo, proud with all of our Twitter traffic.

Thanks for capturing the event in all of its glory. I'm happy that I made the pic cut. Just be sure to always frame me next to Banti for every pic. :)
It really was a good time. And I meant everything I said. Especially that last part.
P.S. I feel that I should apologize for sneaking into Brad Polzin and friend's photo... I feel that I should, but I don't think I will.
good show. I'm glad I went. I especially enjoyed Kiel's fiber arts presentation.
thanks, my wife has received a bunch of emails about it. Thanks for laughing with/at me.
well, that was certainly fun. and i need to watch how fast i speak. its like i forgot everything from my high school debate class.
very much enjoyed the range of material presented. there's lots of smart people in fresno, nice to have a forum such as pecha kucha for them. go CF!
There were so many people there I was running aroun dlike crazy behind the bar... but it was a great night and I'm super excited for the next one... maybe I'll request to bartend that one :D
Excellent show, fun people & good pics. I like!
Nice job, Heather, and another enjoyable PK.
Conlan, I think you, along with the other folks in the background really make the picture. Very Weegeeesque >

although it really looks like I need to get out in the sun more, judging by my pale complexion. By the way, that's fellow photographer, artist, musician Michael Karibian next to me.
Thanks, Brad. I've added Michael's name to the post.
