Geek out a little before tonight's episode of 'Lost'

As I mentioned in last week's Obsessions post, reading "Lost" recaps the morning after each new episode airs has become one of my favorite ways to pass the time. Well, it turns out that reading speculation pieces before the episodes air is raging fun, as well.

Before tonight's episode, titled "The Little Prince," airs, read up on what Entertainment Weekly's Doc Jensen has to say about the significance of the episode's title, and then check out the latest episode of his informative and amusing video series, "Totally Lost," (spoilers!) where he shares his thoughts on last week's episode, plus gives teasers about what's to come in this week's.

the site above (sorry don't know how to link it) is where I go to get my L O S T geek on. I try to avoid any spoiler information at all costs. This site will give you spoilers but they label as suck, just like you did, haha. These geeks analyze the show to the fullest.

Last week's episode was a lot better than the two hour premiere in my opinion. i think when the focus is the island, the episode will always be good. Desmond stories are always pretty good too.

As for the show's main characters, Jack, Kate, Sayid, Hurley, I can't stand them. I know I'm suppose to like them because they are the main peeps. I just don't. Wish Ana Lucia would have killed Sayid back in season 2, haha.

I got Sun's back. I hope she stabs them all in the back.

mdub420, I agree with you. Last week's episode featured none of the Oceanic 6, and I can't say I missed them. It was almost like watching a completely different show. I like how Daniel Faraday has become the new (and way more interesting) Jack.

Oh, and I'm with you on Sun. I think she's going to go homicidal on them all, starting with Kate.

Hi, Heather! It absolutely blows my mind what Doc comes up with each week... and just how nerdy I am for reading his column obsessively. BTW, I know you're all into Farraday, but I'll always be more of a Jack fan. I think it has more to do with "Party of Five", though. (I heart Charlie Salinger...)

Hey Zara! Yeah, that Doc Jensen guy is totally immersed in Lost culture. I usually have no idea what he's talking about, but I still find it fascinating, and I love how he digs up old episodes to explain what's happening.

I don't know if I'm "into" Faraday, but I really like having a new guy around who still has some mystery to him. After all those Jack flashbacks, I feel like we all know everything there will ever be to know about him. Also, I find him sad and weak now -- I can't believe he's letting Ben tell him what to do.

The character I'm into is Sun. I think she's going to happily destroy the whole world. Or maybe just the island. We'll see. (R.I.P. Jin!)

No, RIP Jin, Heather! I refuse to believe that the man who ended his best ever series (well, second to "Lost") with the reunion of Felicity and Ben would let Jin die!

well it doesn't seem that Jack will be listening to Ben much longer now. Ben's got some esplaining to do with why he wanted Aaron. I don't think the "because you're not his mother Kate" explanation is going to fly very well.

the reason why i like Ben so much is because he's always ahead of the game. after getting kick off the island, I figured he would be helpless. looks like he may escape a bullet from Sun next week since her boo is alive!!

i'm hoping for a black smoke appearance next week. i want to see how Russo's crew gets taken out by the "security system".

the debacle of a premiere seems ages ago after two good episodes in a row. i'm a happy geek.....

I dunno -- I think Ben will still persuade Jack to listen. I'm sure he was harassing Kate about Aaron in an attempt to get her to flee back to the island, and I'm sure Jack will see it that way eventually, too.

I don't know who I was more excited to see -- Jin or a pregnant, young Rousseau.

Never mind. Jin!!

Never seen the show, but looking at the picture it seems however "Lost" they may be, they DID magically manage to find an island that was apparently well stocked with tanning oil (judging by the shirtless dude). How fortunate!
