Camera in hand, we were snappin' flicks at Tuesday night's J. Dilla tribute at Starline for another installment of the Beehive Society Page.
We saw all sorts of cool folks -- musicians, bloggers, eaters, Tweeters, poets and more.

The man behind it all, Johnny Q

Joey Beezle. Don't give this man your phone number

He's the DJ, she's the Soulflower -- DJ F-Plus and Devoya Mayo (aka Ms. Soulflower)

Devoya ia so awesome she brought some Dilla donuts

Landon, one half of The Guys Who Like to Eat. Or, in this case, drink.

Director Punit Dhesi and producer/manager Hecktik, makin' things happen, of course.

DJ Bradley, Clint Storm and a woman whose name I don't know.

Mr. Leonard, stylin'

Justa Just + his homie

Jay from Sanger, a lady I don't know and the great Brodiemash

Fresno trifecta: Mr. Incognito, Devoya Mayo and The Fresnan

Starr Lopez & Co.

Awww... you guys all look so great. I shouldn't have been such a slacker!!
Oh, awesome. I was wondering how much of a drunk fool I acted last night. Good to know it was recorded.
The lady you don't know with Jay from Sanger is his delightful girlfriend, Chloe.
Those stripes are awesome.
Punit, Beezle, Fashawn, Hecktik! I haven't seen them in a while!
Figures. The one night I'm not at Starline, there's HMac. She's a reverse-stalker, never showing up where I am, never calling, never writing.
I might have to take out a reverse-restraining order on her, where if she's NOT within 50 feet of me she'll get arrested.
:::sigh:::
I hope the night went well, tho...by the photos, it looks like it was great!
Wow. I really feel like I'm part of some community or something. A famous one. I'm so much better than regular people. Actually, I always felt that way.
Never mind. My point is, definitely the highlight of my night was not only meeting Heather Mac, but learning that she actually knew who I was! Now that, my friends, is called success. Or something.
What a great cast of characters. I am bummed I missed it. I had m stripes picked out and everything!!!
All the cool people, that I know, were at this shindig. Mad props to everyone who put it together, 'twas a wonderful show!
Thanks for the shout-out Heather! Maybe if I would've worn my striped shirt (I swear I almost did) I would've been more memorable. =) Good times!
Chloë:
My dearest apologies. I know I've met you a few times, but either I never got your name or I just didn't remember. My bad.
I shall now remember.
Might you happen to be from Caruthers? Or perhaps Calwa? Or something alliterative. Cuz I can totally remember Jay from Sanger and Chloë from Caruthers.
Unfortunately, no Caruthers ... I come from MadTown, good sir. Actually, I do live in Clovis now ... I guess you can put that alliteration to good use after all! (I'm obsessed with alliteration.) Chloë from Clovis ...
Looks like great times. H-Mac is a hottie
Duh! I forgot Clovis. Chloë from Clovis has a good ring to it. I shall commit it to memory.
Damn...I wish I was cool enough to be there. I must regain cool status in the eyes of Brodiemash...Guess I have to rock my personal soundtrack shirt a bit more...
@Travis: Yes, I must see (hear?) this shirt in person. What happens if you get punched in the speaker?
@brodiemash
The shirt will cry and then the attacker will die...
@Travis: That was beautiful, man. You should wear it to Stankonia on Friday. If your gonna attend, I mean. Can't miss two cool events in one week, right?
Ack! I was next door for the while and I didn't make it over there... dang Rogue business keeping me stressin...
I too need to redeem my cool-ness in Brodie's eyes... hmmm....
yes, that is lipstick on my cheek. and the lady is dee, clint's lady.
@Renee: Don't worry, my cool-ness bar is rather easy to surpass ;)
