On "Psych" last night, they totally just said Fresno. And yeah, it was crime-related (as usual) ...

You know what's better than the Fresno reference? The reference to "Wildcats." Love that movie. "U-G-L-Y. You ain't got no alibi. You ugly!"
Props for linking back to all of those "Did They Just Say Fresno?"s. You know what would be awesome? If the Beehive had a place on the sidebar for regular features so one could simply click a link and get all of the "Did They Just Say Fresno?" posts.
You know what else would be cool? A blog roll.
Maybe a page that would allow readers to contact the bloggers.
Or, how about a way to link back to older posts via a "previous pages" link so that readers wouldn't have to go to archives after missing one day of reading.
Oh well. If only we'd thought of all these things. A year ago.
I'm very thankful this thankfullness holiday weekend.
a) that Fresno was not one of the cities that had a nasty headline related to shopping madness on the front page this morning.
b) that the Beehive birthday party is THIS FRIDAY in spite of what may have been mistakenly posted on Mindhub this morning.
Wow, HMac. GREAT blog ideas! I only wish you had some sort of, you know, influence or contacts at the beehive!
As for this post, I love that Will takes the time to tivo stuff, then film it digitally with his tapeless cameravideo thing, and then takes the time to post all of those links, and then takes the time to post lots of OTHER stuff!
Which all means he's totes ignoring his wife, so in a few years, I'll have a chance.
Whether that chance is with Will or his wife remains to be seen.
Can't WAIT for the bday partay!
PS--No WAY anyone in Fresno turns 'State's Evidence' or gets immunity or anything like that. Oh, wait, it was for a robbery? Oh, okay. I thought it was for drug use, DUI, or driving with a cel phone. Those get punished to the Nth degree of the law.
You know a way to contact the Beehive bloggers would be nice. There's sometimes something I want to e-mail one of them but have no idea how to get it to them. Usually it's some Amy Winehouse story I want to sent to Hmac
NO BEEHIVE! Don't get that blogroll or any of those other things. It's all us little guys have over The Hive... well, that and being able to write the word F#@! without having to disguise it.

I know it must be a matter of selecting hearing, but it does seem that I hear Fresno mentioned a lot more in movies and tv. Is this just me? It makes me wonder if the Fresno Film commission offers monetary incentives to those who mention Fresno in a positive manner. If they don't, they really should
