As we've blogged before, the Fresno Swede Festival is happening Saturday at Corridor 2122. There are five (possibly six) official entries, with another one or two on the docket for showing. You can read more about the event, as well as all you ever wanted to know about sweding, over on Fresno Famous.
Without ruining Christmas for those involved who want to keep some surprises for the festival, here's a sneak preview (found on YouTube) of what to expect if you show up ...
"Iron Man" (produced by Brittany Stapleton, Katie Howden and Michael Banti):
"When Harry Met Sally" (this is the one I did with Josh Tehee and Jaime Holt ... and for those who can't guess which scene, I should probably mention that the audio is slightly NSFW):
"Raiders of the Lost Ark" (this is the one that Roque Rodriguez, aka brodiemash, did to inspire at least me to make one ... Roque said this will most likely be shown, but his official submission is "The Usual Suspects"):
"Jurassic Park" (this is not a locally produced swede but another one that will be shown ... it was awarded second place in the public vote at the Official "Be Kind Rewind" competition, according to its YouTube page):

I can't wait to go check out the festival this weekend! One problem, I hate going to movies, which means I've watched very few movies in my life...so, seeing the swede's will be like watching everything for the first time!
Secondly, big props to Jamie Holt for that stellar performance...I would never have been able to do that with a straight face.
