So I finally made it to a Creative Fresno Blender. Another Fresno First in the book.
I can't really give you a super-detailed recap of the event, because it was mostly people chatting, maybe grabbing a drink or two, exchanging business cards and so on.
There were also some raffle prizes, which I didn't win.
But that's OK, because I came home with Beehive Society Page pictures. Check 'em out after the jump:

Geoff and Travis

Mike and Renee

Albert, hooking up name tags and raffle tickets.

Tracy, Mila and The Bee's own Bethany Clough

Allison and Tim

Suzanne (center) and friends

Lea and Ray

Beth and Travis (again)

Thanks for snapping that shot of me and
Ray Arthur! We had such a wonderful conversation about the film industry in Fresno. I told him about my husband Kevin Van Fossen who is talented in special effects make-up and costume. I had wanted to move to an area that had more opportunity for Kevin when we were married over 10 years ago. He wanted to stay here near his family. Life went on and he is a teacher now. He has never forgotten his love of special effects. At Halloween he makes himself up as different characters and I find a place for us to go and show his work. He always gets rave reviews. Ray is looking forward to meeting Kevin at the next Creative Fresno mixer and likewise. Lea Adams
